Born in Argentina in 1973 and lives and works between Paris, Buenos Aires, and Montevideo.

Leandro Erlich has exhibited internationally over the past two decades, and his works are included in the collections of major institutions such as the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires, Tate Modern in London, Centre Pompidou in Paris, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, MACRO in Rome, and the Israel Museum, among others.
Erlich has created major public works, including La Democracia del Símbolo at the Obelisco and MALBA in Buenos Aires, Maison Fond for the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris, Port of Reflections at the MMCA in Seoul, and Palimpsest for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale in Japan. His monumental work La Carte, À l’ombre de la ville is permanently installed in Bordeaux.
Recent projects include Concrete Coral in Miami, Infinite Garden: The Joy of Diversity at Expo 2025 Osaka and the Tsurumi Hospice in Osaka, and Pixel Tree, a permanent installation in the city of Fukuoka. He has presented solo exhibitions at institutions including the Mori Art Museum, Amos Rex, Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg, MALBA, and Pérez Art Museum Miami.
As a conceptual artist, Erlich explores the relationship between perception and reality, creating works that blur the boundary between everyday experience and illusion while encouraging viewers to actively participate in the construction of meaning.
