ARTISTS

Sandra Cinto was born in 1968. She lives and works in São Paulo. Using drawing as a starting point, she explores the limits of this language in dialogue with architecture, sculpture, painting, and installations. She has held solo exhibitions at institutions such as the Foundation Hermès and Itau Cultural (2020), Dallas Art Museum (2019), Cincinnati Art Center (2017), among others. Her work is included in collections such as Inhotim, MAC/USP, Pinacoteca de São Paulo, MASP, MAM, MAR, National Gallery, MoMA, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea, Dallas Art Museum, among others.
The artist has just completed her largest work, a seven-year project that will be unveiled at the end of August: two monumental tapestries and the grand concert hall of the Teatro Cultura Artística, both works featuring acoustic properties, in São Paulo, Brazil.
